Welcome to the Website of artist Steve Mendelson. An artist is the observer, critic, and interpreter of his or her culture and its place in the world. The artist also is the explorer of his own interior landscape. These characteristics define the artist and definitely define Steve. On the following pages, we will share his life, times, and talent. Be prepared to be challenged, charmed, saddened, delighted, and overwhelmed. Steve could make you feel all these things, and his work reflects them.
Steve died of AIDS on February 11. 1995.
